What’s Your Favorite Tipple?

Everyone has different tastes. Whether it’s regarding food, drinks, clothes, or partners, we all like something a little different. This is not a bad thing, as variety is the spice of life after all. What it does mean is that there is a lot more choice when it comes to alcohol.

So, what’s your favorite drink to party with? Or perhaps you like a different drink depending on the occasion? Maybe you haven’t found your alcoholic legs yet and are still trying to figure it out? All of which is perfectly fine.

Narrow down your options a little to try and find a drink that you are going to fall in love with. Here is a brief overview of the different types of alcohol. That way, you can get an idea as to whether you think they’ll be an option.

Hard Liquor

The term liquor is used somewhat loosely across the alcohol industry but generally refers to any drink which has been distilled. Hard liquor includes vodka, whiskey, tequila, rum, gin, and brandy. These are the strongest types of alcohol and come in a wide range of different flavors.

Beer

Beer is thought to be the oldest known form of alcoholic beverage. It’s also the most popular drink worldwide, following water and tea. There are many different beer types to choose from, including ale, lager, stout, pale ale, and pilsner. Each has its own distinct flavoring and methods of production.

Wine

The world of wine can be overwhelming for anyone that’s new to it. However, to narrow it down, there are generally three main types of wine.

Red wine: made from black grapes, usually more of a bitter taste.

White wine: made from both black and white grapes, more acidic with crisp and fresh flavors.

Rose wine: pink in color and made using black grapes; it has a sweet, light taste.

The choice is yours!
